Best bets for Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Tuesday's board is all hockey. All ten of our top picks come from six NHL games, with start times from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM ET. Bets on total goals lead the way: five of the ten picks are over or under 6.5 goals, and all five pay plus money, so a winning $100 bet profits more than $100. The expected profit figures below are long-run averages. They come from look-alike past games blended with the market price, so they aren't promises about any one night.
Ducks at Canucks, under 6.5 (+113, LowVig.ag)
Our top pick is under 6.5 goals in Anaheim at Vancouver, starting at 9:00 PM ET. The best price we found is +113 at LowVig.ag. The board puts expected profit at +$6.41 per $100, based on 3,688 look-alike games. Here's the idea: by paying plus money on the under, sportsbooks are saying the game is a bit more likely than not to reach seven goals. Past games like this one say a low-scoring game is more likely than that price suggests. If that history holds, the under is being undersold.
Blues at Rangers, over 6.5 (+115, Fanatics)
Second is the other side of a total: over 6.5 goals in St. Louis at the New York Rangers at 7:00 PM ET. Fanatics has the best price at +115, worth an expected +$4.38 per $100 across 3,688 look-alike games. This isn't a forecast of a wild, high-scoring game. The board just thinks +115 pays a little more than it should, given how often similar games have gone over.
Nashville +1.5 vs. Carolina (-144, FanDuel)
Third is Nashville +1.5 at home against Carolina at 8:00 PM ET, priced at -144 on FanDuel. That means you risk $144 to win $100. The bet wins if Nashville wins outright or loses by just one goal. It carries an expected +$4.33 per $100, based on 1,321 look-alike games. The market has Nashville as the underdog. In the board's view, -144 is a fair-to-cheap price for that one-goal cushion, given how often similar home underdogs have stayed close.
Nashville shows up twice more on the list. The Carolina-Nashville over 6.5 is fifth at +114 on DraftKings (+$3.30 expected), and Nashville to win outright is tenth at +162 on LowVig.ag (+$2.44), both from the same pool of look-alike games. Winnipeg at Montreal also has two picks, both at FanDuel and both from 2,736 look-alike games: Winnipeg to win at +155 (+$3.89) and Winnipeg +1.5 at -154 (+$2.90). Detroit at Tampa Bay has two on DraftKings: Detroit +1.5 at -102 (+$3.05, 1,379 games) and the over 6.5 at +110 (+$2.90, 3,688 games). Rounding out the list is the under 6.5 in Vegas at Pittsburgh at +105 on DraftKings (+$2.84). Keep in mind that picks from the same game tend to win or lose together. Nashville to win and Nashville +1.5 both depend on Nashville playing well, so stacking them doubles up on one outcome rather than giving you two separate chances.
