Philadelphia in Washington and Calgary in Edmonton take the top four spots. As always, the expected profit figures below are long-run averages across many bets like these. They are not a forecast that any single game will cash.

Flyers +1.5 at Capitals (-120, DraftKings)

Our top pick is Philadelphia on the puck line, plus 1.5 goals, at -120 on DraftKings. That means you risk $120 to win $100. The bet wins if the Flyers win outright or lose by exactly one goal. The 7:30 PM ET game in Washington is backed by 1,913 look-alike games, meaning past matchups with a similar line, the same home-and-road setup and similar rest. Blended with the market price, they project +$5.93 per $100. Why might the price be off? Many NHL games are decided by one goal, so a road underdog getting a goal and a half can be underpriced when bettors focus on who's favored.

Flames +1.5 at Oilers (-124, FanDuel)

The same idea applies in the 8:30 PM ET game in Edmonton. Calgary plus 1.5 goals is available at -124 on FanDuel and projects +$5.37 per $100, backed by 2,069 look-alike games. In a provincial rivalry like this one, the home favorite tends to attract attention, which can push the price on the other side a little further than our numbers think it should go.

Flyers to win at Capitals (+195, DraftKings)

The third pick is a bolder version of the first one: Philadelphia to win outright at +195 on DraftKings, where a $100 bet returns $195 in profit. It draws on the same 1,913 look-alike games and projects +$3.38 per $100. It will lose more often than the puck line, but it pays far more when it hits. Keep in mind that it rises and falls with pick No. 1. If you take both, you're really making one bigger bet on the Flyers playing well.

The rest of the list follows the same pattern. Calgary to win at +183 on LowVig.ag projects +$2.38. New Jersey at Colorado (9:00 PM ET) takes up four spots. The over and under can both show value because they use different lines at different books: a game with exactly six goals would refund the under and lose the over. In college football, New Mexico State +3.5 at -110 on MyBookie.ag projects +$1.23 against Jacksonville State. Kennesaw State at Middle Tennessee over 50.5 at -104 on FanDuel projects +$1.06.
