Our top pick is Vancouver on the puck line at -130 at FanDuel. You win if the Canucks win outright or lose by exactly one goal. At -130, you risk $130 to win $100. The model puts expected profit at +$5.05 per $100, based on 2,361 look-alike games with a similar line, the same home-or-away setup and similar rest. The likely reason the price is off is that in those past games, road underdogs in this spot stayed within a goal more often than -130 implies. The 10:00 PM ET start also means less attention on the game.

Wild at Mammoth under 6

Next is Minnesota at Utah to finish under 6 total goals, at +113 at BetOnline.ag. A plus price means you win more than you risk. If the teams score exactly 6, the bet is a push and your money comes back. This pick has the deepest backing on the board, 7,314 look-alike games, and an expected profit of +$4.56 per $100. The model sees a lower-scoring game as more likely than the sportsbook's price suggests.

Panthers at Jets over 6.5

Third is Florida at Winnipeg over 6.5 goals at +115 at Fanatics, so you need 7 or more goals. It comes from 3,656 look-alike games and has an expected profit of +$4.52 per $100. There's a wrinkle: the same game's under 5.5 is tenth on the list at +117. Those two bets can't both win. Both make the list because each price looks a bit too generous on its own, not because the model expects one game to go two ways. Exactly 6 goals would lose both.
