Best bets for Saturday, October 24, 2026
Saturday's college football board leans one way. Seven of our top 10 picks are home teams getting plus money. The rest are three totals, and every best price is at DraftKings. Each pick's expected profit comes from look-alike past games blended with the market price. It's a long-run average, not a promise for any single Saturday.
Northern Illinois over Hawaii
The top pick is Northern Illinois to beat Hawaii outright at +164 at DraftKings. Kickoff is 3:30 PM ET. A $100 bet that hits pays $164 in profit. Our estimate puts the expected profit at +$6.42 per $100, backed by 1,248 look-alike games, the biggest sample among our three moneyline picks. Why might the price be off? In those past games with a similar line, a home team and comparable rest, home teams in this spot won more often than this price suggests. Our numbers also like the over 47.5 in this game at -110, which is eighth on the board at +$1.18 per $100.
Michigan over Indiana
Next is Michigan to beat Indiana at +235 at DraftKings, kicking off at noon ET. That's a long price for a home team, so the market clearly sees Indiana as the stronger side. Across 863 look-alike games, home underdogs at about this price won a bit more often than the odds imply. That works out to +$4.88 per $100. Michigan is still more likely to lose than win. Our numbers just say the payout more than makes up for that over many bets like this one.
UCF over BYU
Third is UCF to beat BYU at +220 at DraftKings, kicking off at 3:30 PM ET. It's backed by 820 look-alike games, with an expected profit of +$3.26 per $100. It's the same idea as Michigan: home teams at this price tend to get a little less credit from the market than their results have earned. The edge is thinner here, so the margin for error is smaller.
The rest of the list follows the same pattern. The over 47.5 in Western Michigan at Toledo (-105) is the only total with a stronger estimate than the Hawaii-NIU over, at +$3.16 per $100 across 1,584 look-alike games. Three more home underdogs follow: Auburn against LSU at +220 (+$2.73), Mississippi State against Oklahoma at +142 (+$2.60) and Minnesota against Iowa at +210 (+$1.86). The list ends with two unders at 62.5: San Diego State at Colorado State (-108) and North Texas at Navy (-105). Each is worth just under a dollar per $100. These lower picks have small edges, and plus-money underdogs lose more often than they win, so a losing day is entirely possible even if our numbers are right. Prices can also move before kickoff, so check the current line before betting.
