They're kept only in this browser and sent to ESPN only to read your league. Public leagues don't need them.
How it works: each player's projection comes from his own games this season and last (this season counts double), scored with your league's settings and adjusted for how many points this week's opponent allows to his position. The win chance plays the matchup 10,000 times, each time drawing one of every starter's past games. Players whose game is over count what they actually scored and can't be moved. Playoff odds play out the rest of the regular season 1,000 times against your real schedule, starting each team's best lineup every week; injured players on IR are assumed out for 4 weeks.
